about
Song written to my now husband, as we were driving to the ferry to catch a plane to Hawaii on September 6, 2001. We had sold everything to make the big move to Hawaii, only to have September 11th happen 5 days later. We stayed for a couple of months and then since there was a freeze on federal jobs we decided to come home... But the dream stayed, and we in many ways made it come true. I have sung this song to him for 16 years, time to share with everyone now that our dream has come true and is continuing to evolve.
lyrics
Down by the water oh
a house in the trees
we'll build a fire, oh
and start to find peace
I'll bring the water
and you'll tend the garden
and we'll all have flowers
for every season
